We walked in and were greeted very warmly at the reception desk. Although we did not have an appointment Susan graciously walked us through the facility answering all our questions. The place is very clean and welcoming.

We had an excellent visit to Delmar this past weekend and were thoroughly impressed with the facility, the staff, and the programming. The rooms are spacious and quiet, and the shared spaces are exceptionally well-designed. I would like to extend a sincere thank you to Susan for her patience with my mother, as she searches for her forever home. We also thoroughly enjoyed the lunch—it was truly outstanding.

I just visited the place exploring options for my mother , the community relations manager was very helpful and nice , she showed me the place, the suites and introduce me to the staff.

The staff at Delmanor Elgin mills have helped us to deal with the loss of my parents through dementia and the subsequent loss of my mother. They are so kind and loving and have always supported my parents and our family. They really know my parents and have always treated them so kindly and respectfully. Before my mom passed away she expressed one of the PSWs (Dulce) tucked her in so sweetly it was like her mother saying good night. But so many of their staff are like that too. The nurses are on top of my parent’s health and keep us aware of what’s going on. Tania and the Lannie’s saved my mother’s life more than once by offering advice on how to proceed. Jane in the memory care ward took on my father’s care today is showing already that she can deal with the issues around cognitive impairment. The resident handy man comes in some weekends to play jazz music and tries to be helpfuk where possible. The concierge Phillip is like my dad’s personal assistant with a smile. HNicole is so patient with our many inquiries about billing, and the marketing people Susan and Hannah always check in on us. It’s very low key but if you’re looking for a safe and loving place with wonderful staff and residents I highly recommended it. I’m sorry to the staff that I haven’t named but there’s just too many to name. Thank you all.

Delmanor Elgin Mills is a wonderful choice for a retirement residence in Richmond Hill, ON. I have visited this location to do my regular music program for several years. I have known many of the residents for a long time and they are very happy there. Many are dear friends with each other. The staff consistently goes above and beyond for their residents! There is always someone close by in case someone needs anything, and the reception staff can answer any question very quickly. The residence is always clean and fresh; there is always something interesting for the residents to do in the way of programs and outings. The nursing staff are very attentive to residents. There are also beautiful and fun seasonal decorations throughout the year. You will often hear laughter in the halls and there is always a friendly face to greet you. I recommend Delmanor Elgin Mills as a great place for any senior to live!

My Father and his wife moved into Delmanor just over a year ago and absolutely love it. There are always activities for them to participate in if they wish or a friendly face to say hello and have a chat. The staff are friendly, kind and always willing to help. During the pandemic they have worked very hard to keep everyone safe and healthy and have done a great job!

We moved into Delmanor a year ago and could not be happier, the staff have been wonderful going beyond the call of duty when looking after us during this trying time. We had temps taken regularly, exercises in the hall, great meals and conversations with other residents in the hall (with our masks on) so there is always companionship if you want it as well as walks around the building outside and in.

Just wanted to share with everyone an amazing experience that I had with Delmanor Elgin Mills. My Aunt currently lives at Delmanor and I had the opportunity to have an outdoor visit with her recently. I wanted to share how well she has been looked after during this most very difficult and trying time . The entire family feels very comforted by the safty protocols which are in place and the loving care she receives every day by all departments. She can't say enough about the menu selections and how blessed she is living at Delmanor Elgin Mills. Thank you Delmanor.

I was with my CHATS volunteers group to visit a CHATS member who recently moved in. Classy, well appointed establishment.

Great ambience. Staff are excellent, very caring and compassionate morning, evening and night. Will highly recommend.

Lovely staff, new renovations are adding even more amenities. Food is phenomenal.

My mum was here for her hip replacement recovery. The staff are incredible, kind and and truly care. You can reserve a table or private dining room for dinners. The Internet only works on 2nd floor and lobby however and they are under construction. Still, this was her second stay and they provide laundry, meals to your room and long-term care. I fully support this residence as all suites are beautiful with excellent service.
